Charlie P Good comfortable work shoe. Better than many shoes that are more than double the price.

letrsnow I bought the "WIDE" version of these shoes and they are some of the best "WIDE" fit dress shoes I've found. In addition, they don't make your feet look like your wearing flippers. As for comfort they are good but not as good as I think they could be. They arches around the ankle bones are not as low as they could be and so tend to rub occasionally. The fit in the ball and arch are very good otherwise. I wore these 10 hours the first day and my feet were not sore so I would say they don't require a break in period.

Jonfwtx Great shoes... I searched for weeks in every dept store you can think of in North TX and tried on just about everything in the "comfort dress shoe" category. I am 46 and my feet had gotten to a point where they would no longer tolerate traditional dress shoes at least not for a whole day at work. My desk is literally one quarter of a mile walk from my car in the company garage. This was taking a toll on my feet every day. I did not have a lot of faith in these as Dockers (Levis) was known for Jeans and khakis, right? But, lo and behold, I put these on and started walking around the DSW store. BTW, DSW is a great place to try on shoes at they have a lot of floor space that you walk around in to really get a good feel for any shoe you are considering. To this point I had tried everything from Bostonian to Timberland to Rockport to Ecco...just name it and I probably tried their entry in the comfort dress shoe arena. Nothing felt anywhere near as good as the Gordons. I have both the brown and black and have been wearing them now for almost a year. They feel great all day and, due to the expansive layout of my corporate headquarters, I have to do a lot of walking during the day (sometimes). They have worn great and look great also...something I could not say about most of the other shoes I tried on. I have recommended these to several co-workers and they have loved them as well.

Rich Nice balance between dressy looks and casual feel - I bought these shoes in both black and cordovan. They needed a week or two of mildly uncomfortable break-in before I could forget they were on my feet. They are not as comfortable as sneakers or other casual shoes I've owned, but they are more comfortable than most dress shoes. My size is 9D (medium). Perhaps a step up in width would have been a better choice. They are good looking shoes...perfect for business casual wear. I probably could wear them with a suit, but haven't yet. The cordovan pair has a more natural shine than the black. They are a bit too dressy for jeans though. I was pleasantly surprised by the grip of the rubber soles on wet surfaces, excellent traction. All in all, I am now quite satisfied and would consider ordering them again.

Anonymous Caution: buy only with great care. This runs quite a bit smaller than my Rockports, also less flexible, bit less comfortable. For short use these were fine. Then had to walk around Manhattan a bit. Came back with sore and bloody toes. I should have taken the shoes off and walked in socks or bought other shoes at the first store to which I came. It seems a well built shoe, but would not buy online and would plan on a significant break in period. The arch support/insole is non-existent but that is the case for many others also. Plan on buying new insoles, arch supports to your like. Would also bring with you to try on with the shoe. Size 11 waiting for someone at the local goodwill store. If you have 9 1/2 or 10 feet, time to break in and your own arch supports, might be good for you.

bready I have now bought 4 pairs of this shoe over the past 5 years. They are extremely comfortable for all day wear. I work on my feet all day long and this shoe is by far the most comfortable shoe I've worn. The style goes with any pair of paints or event. From work to wedding to a night out with colleagues this shoe works.

Rob Things are not always as they appear - I purchased these shoes three months ago and was very happy with them until about a month ago. They fit great, they looked great, but the heel started to make a squishing sound when I walked. On closer inspection I saw that the rubber on the sole, which was very soft, had broken and cracked in the tread of the heel. I contacted Zappos' Customer Service and I am in the process of returning these shoes. As always, their Customer Service is top notch. Unfortunately, they are sold out of the Antiqued Cordovan, so I will probably get another brand.

Cman I use to buy my casual shoes in a department store at a local mall. But I have found the experience of shopping for shoes at a brick and mortar store to be too time consuming and frustrating. I wear a size 11 wide and that size never seems to be in stock. I have purchased Dockers shoes in the past and they have always been true to size, so I strongly recommend buying online for your next purchase. Shipping is fast and you save on gas by avoiding trips to the mall. The shoe looks good and is comfortable, priced right and an excellent choice to wear with khakis or other causal pants.

Anonymous This a nice looking shoe, and very cheap, and it is not as uncomfortable as others have said in their reviews (for me--but I haven't worn them for so long yet). They are extremely stiff when you first put them on, but I've broken them in a bit just by walking around the house. The color goes very nicely with either navy or gray (and obviously with khakis and greens and tans of all kinds), and I wear them with navy and gray suits. They are a bit on the casual side to go with a suit, though, so you'll need something else if you want to look more formal.
