runrn one of the only socks that doesn't slip on my heelII also gifted some to runners in my family.
Burnsy I used to be a big fan of socks that used the double layer technology. However, after reading the reviews, I gave these a try and am now a convert. The have cushioning everywhere you need it and are thin and breathable along the top. Additionally, unlike lots of other socks, these fit well across the toes. I still use double layer socks for my shorter weekday runs but always use these socks for my weekend long runs. The only downside is that they discolor over time, especially if you use any type of anti-chafe on your feet. These would be absolutely perfect if they came in black.
Megface No question...since I started wearing these socks for my runs my feet stopped barking at me and are happy once again. These socks are comfortable, don't slip off my foot at the heel, and can take me through a tough run without my feet ever even hinting at a blister. And, for those of you like me whose feet just happen to sweat like nobody's business, these socks keep my feet cool and dry. They are the best out there.

Mike This is the one running item I NEVER change (well, OK, I do wash them and change them out). For the longest time, I was disappointed that RRS did not carry these socks. My devotion to RRS went way up when this sock was added to the product line. Now, if we can only get Balega to offer more colors in this sock.
A_Fan I've worn many different brands of socks and these are one of the best. They are so soft, smooth and comfortable. As soon as you put them on, you'll feel what I mean. They have good support with a good weight; not too heavy or too lite. The only thing is RRS needs these in the 'quarter/anklet size'. I got those somewhere else and that's when I first fell in love with them!
New runner Love this sock; started training for half marathons and ran two in May. I bought the size medium and it was too large so I gave them away and bought small which is perfect. Pilled in the laundry until I placed them in fine mesh lingerie bag and they're fine. The person I gave the size Medium to, really likes these socks too. They don't slip down into the shoe and are soft.
Gabroe Honestly I don't care paying [$] for a pair of sucks if it is going to let me run a 10km run under the rain and end up blister free, I'm really delicate on my feet but since I discovered balega socks I don't have to worry about it anymore, I just love them! Now go and get a pair of this babies!
KK These are the best socks for running that I have tried. They are thick enough that they don't wear out and feel cushy on your feet. But not so thick that you feel them when you are running. They also stay in place and don't move on your heel.
GingerSnap I purchased several pairs of these in black and candy pink recently. I LOVE the colors- I've worn just the plain white ones for years and they are my favorite socks BOTTOM LINE! I don't just wear them for training but all the time. I was mildly disappointed when I pulled out my first pair of candy pink socks to note that they are now slightly smaller. At first I thought I was imagining it but when I compared them to a white pair I previously owned and the black pair I bought at the same time the pink is smaller than both. I don't really get why. I wear a size 10.5 in the Kayano running shoe and the M Balega has always fit me great (M=women's 8-10.5). The black and white still fit fine but the pink are a tiny bit snug. I may try sizing up in the future and see if a L is too big but for now I bought a ton of the pink in a M and I've washed them all so I'm stuck with them. Also to note- the candy pink is VERY vibrant! Super cute if you love hot pink!! I've also seen the greenish/yellow color in person and it is more like a neon yellow rather than a greenish color, just to note ;) *yes I would recommend them to a friend providing they try them on first.
