Urban Logger Don't buy these expecting them to be as tough as the all-out original Carhartt dungarees. They don't have a hammer loop, either, but there is a cell phone pocket on the right side. On the other hand, these are a bit more comfortable because of the lighter fabric used. I have bought these before and found that they're good for about a year of being worn on my job (cabinetmaker) two days per week. Others have mentioned they're a bit snug in the crotch and this has been my experience as well, though I only notice it when I first put them on and they're comfortable to wear all day. These are also definitely a boot cut. Lots of loose fabric down at the end of the leg, so if you're one of these metrosexual/hipster skinny jean types, these will not please you. I will probably buy these again if they're available; I bought two pairs and can't find the defect that caused them to be deemed "irregular."

Bill I clear brush, rototill rocky soil, plant gardens, saw wood, dig trenches, kill weeds, maintain equipment, and run errands. When the pants get dirty, I brush off the dirt, throw them in the washer and they come out spotless.

CK Have previously purchased Carhartt work pants (#14806 (?)) from Sierra Trading Post and they were fabulous - looked nice, wore very well. These Relaxed Fit Khaki Pants are the only all cotton non-jean pants Carhartt currently makes and they leave a lot to be desired. The material is thin but may indeed wear well (although it seems to have a coating that two washings haven't removed). The seams on the legs are only single stitched and are shoddy. Worst of all, they have SELF DUMPING POCKETS. Sit down with change or keys in your front pockets and they're likely not to be there when you get up. If my wife hadn't already slightly shorted them for me I'd return them. Even at STP's nice price these pants are not worth it.

elbarto Lighter and cooler than denim jeans, but the canvas seems sturdy and should hold up well. I like the overall fit and feel of these pants. With the exception of the cell phone pocket, the pockets are large and useful. I found that when I tried using the cell phone pocket for my cell phone, it had a tendency to fall out when sitting. It might be useful for a jackknife or something else you can afford to lose. Overall I like the pants and am glad that I bought them.

Yeah Buddy These pants are great for work in the summer if you have to wear pants. They are not as thick as the triditional cotton duck pants so they tend to breath a lot better and dry faster if you sweat alot. The only thing you really need to watch out for is the sizing for some dumb reason they run about a size to small, might have to do with where they are made. For the most part good pants and look good enough to wear in the office and tough enough to wear in the field

Allswell I regularly use Carhartt pants for casual and work wear. Any pants I wear for work take a beating, and I have come to trust Carhartt pants for quality, durability, and a fit that works perfectly for me. The Carhartt khakis are true to quality and durability, but the fit is significantly different from their work pants. The legs taper too much for my liking. Because they were advertised as khaki pants, I suppose I expected something more like chinos. These more resemble Carhartt work pants with skinny legs. Not my favorite.

jeepfreak Buy all the colors in your size because mine sold out fast and I wished I ordered all the colors when they first become available. The only color I'm missing is moss. They are that good! Only one extra pocket for the phone and no tool loops and they are so comfortable that I wish they made them in denim too.

jackson brown I wear the regular work carharrts all the time ( style # B11, dungaree fit, size 32x30) . Never disappointed. I ordered the "relaxed fit" because they were out of the others in my size. The overall fit was smaller and the material was thinner. Manufacture quality was good as usual but they were not up to par with my regular style. returned item.

Jeepfreak Tired of too many pockets and tool loops on your carhartt pants that you can't go out in? I am and thats why these are my favorite pants. Sure the pockets are handy when I'm plumbing but the loops are useless and often snag things. Great material, cut, quality, comfort and casual look. Like them so much I have 3 pairs.
