Anonymous Zappos' prices are competitive and their shipping is fast. I was very happy with my order of Levi's 501s and I would recommend Zappos as the source for any other buyer seeking the same.
Tim I've been wearing 501's for YEARS and am starting to get disappointed with the product. For the past 2 or 3 years, I've noticed a dramatic reduction in quality of the denim. I get holes in the newer jeans a lot faster than I used to and they seem to fade a lot faster than before too.If you're not hard on equipment then you should be good to go. If you are hard on equipment, you may be disappointed.
Steve First, I wore Levi 505's as a teenager. After becoming an adult I have only worn Levi 501's. I am 37 now. Jeans have always been a staple++ in my wardrobe. Sheplers was excellent. I am easily able to literally purchase a dozen pair of jeans from ALL around and I will only be happy with one. The pair of jeans that I purchased from Sheplers were dead on. This was the first time that I shopped at Sheplers and I could not be happier.[...] I never commended a company before online but Sheplers was truly excellent!

none Of the three pairs of jeans I ordered only one pair was close to the size I ordered. I can squeeze into two pairs but the third pair is definitely not the size I ordered, to small. By the time I washed them and tried them on I had thrown away the packaging so I did not try to return them. Also the material is not as same type of material I am use to when Levis were made in America. I don't think I will order them again.
Dave The only thing that is not so great about the Jeans is that they are expensive in the 1st place (in comparison to lesser brands) and the darker ones do fade quite quickly. Other than that as I said above, Great Jeans, Great Price [...]. Especially when they work out at just over [$] (sterling) per pair for the genuine article, why go anywhere else.
Brit I'm a Brit and these jeans retail for around £70 in the UK and I bought them from Sheplers for a little over £20.[...] They are high quality and great value for money. [...]Even with the additional costs, they cost me half what I would have paid in the UK. Thoroughly recommend Sheplers' [...] products.
Mum! I bought 4 pairs of jeans of various designs for my husband and teenage son. The look fabulous. They wear great weather on the motorbike or dressed up for the tavern. Thanks Shelpers for this opportunity. Oh and we live in the desert of Australia 4hrs from the nearest big shopping complex!!!
Rick K. What can you say...The BEST jeans on the market. They fit well from the very first time you put them on and just keep getting more comfortable with every washing...A few tips...Order them a little longer as they will shrink over time...It may take years but the length gradually shortens. The waist does too but you stretch them back out with every use...The length doesn't have this constant pressure so they will eventually come up about 1-2 inches. Wash ONLY in cold water for two reasons. 1. You do not want the blue staining other items you may happen to wash them with. I wash them alone for their first wash unless the other stuff is blue. And 2. Hot water makes them shrink. So if they are just a little too big, wash them in hot water and they will shrink. If they are way too big...Send them back as Zappos is AWESOME about taking returns. Now that I know my size I am ordering from Zappos exclusively. If you find that you wear a given size the fit should exactly match all jeans in that given type. (IE, I wear only 501 Button-Fly) Hope this helps some...
HVS Levi's 501 are what I wear for riding horses and for every day activities. I think they would last forever, except that riding wears them out in the crotch. They fit tight enough to go under chaps, and yet don't look ridiculous on a 71 year old.
